What influences you?
I'm really influenced by nature and the seasonal landscape, as I often photograph my subjects within nature-based settings. The changing seasons can really change the mood and feel of my work, but I love the contrast that this provides. I'm also influenced by a number of photographers and visual artists I follow on Instagram, particularly women-based photo studios that help educate the creative community about running a sustainable business and growing your brand (@weekendcreative I'm looking at you). Music is also a huge one for me, and can really help me through creative blocks.
What Motivates you as an Artist?
I love telling people's stories through captivating imagery, so I'm really motivated by the prospect of helping people show up online and get the word out about their business or current project. Hearing about what drives my subjects is immensely motivating for me. I also love seeing people come out of their shell during a photoshoot.
