Tasneem is a Curator at the Immigration Museum, Victoria, for the "Faith Fashion Fusion" exhibition. Additionally, as an independent Cross Cultural Consultant, Tasneem delivers acclaimed workshops on diversity, for audiences ranging from Supreme Court judges to school students. Listed in The Age Magazines Top 100 as one of Melbourne's most influential "Movers and Shakers" of 2008, she is a passionate advocate for social change and justice. The Australian Magazine hailed Tasneem as one of 100 Emerging Leaders of 2009 for her expertise in cross-cultural training. Further, as Chairperson of the Australian Muslim Women's Centre for Human Rights, she was profiled in 2010, by Madison Magazine for her contributions in shaping generational change for Australian women.

Tasneem has made various media appearances, including 'The Project', 'The Today Show', 'The 7:30 Report' as well as numerous radio interviews nationally and internationally. Her written contributions have also featured in The Herald Sun, The Age and several online editorial platforms.She is Chairperson to the board of 'Lentil As Anything', a unique not for profit community restaurant, premised on the human capacity for kindness to progress society. She has a Masters in International Development, and background in psychology and sociology. She recently became an Ambassador for Possible Dreams International Inc, a non-profit organisation based in Swaziland designed to empower communities affected by endemic disease and poverty. Tasneem maintains her personal and professional experience inform her broader outlook for meaningful change.
